an emu gets his head stuck in a tin can of sardines and then a thunderstorm pops up and the emu pulls our a ninja turtles umbrella but half of the spokes are broken, all the while some thieves are stealing the emu's wallet.
Bobby and Meg were sitting on the steps of the little white house with the white picket fence. Suddenly they looked above the fence beyond the corn stalks at a red pom pom that kept fluttering from one end of the field to the other so curiously they got up from the steps and walked out and kept looking for the pom pom. Finally they saw it coming down, down, down and it landed right near a big old log and underneath the pom pom was this little man dressed in green with green leather shoes that turned up at the toes. He was carrying a string and on the end of the string was the pom pom they had been looking for. The little old man took off his cap and bowed before the children and said “Welcome to my home; please come in and have tea”. Bobby and Meg looked at each other, smiled, and jumped into the hollow of the log, walked to the end of it, and said “nice of you to invite us in Mister”. My name is Mr. Goofustinger and this is my wife Mrs. Goofustinger whose named Matilda. So please come and sit down and Matilda will bring you some hot tea and some of her good cupcakes which she made this morning. Mrs. Goofustinger said to Mr. Goofustinger “Please put your hat away because we don’t want it to get lost; the pom pom us that tells us where the best strawberries are in the Spring. “ So he did. Then a gust of wind flew through the log and grabbed the hat and took it outside . The pom pom flew away and they watched where the wind dropped it and they ran to where it dropped and they gathered up a whole lot of strawberries and rushed home to their mother who had been waiting. She said “Where have you been? You know you are not supposed to go on the other side of the fence without Boogalu to look after you.
So they did.
Before he went to sleep Bobby ate cookies in bed, and the ants came to eat the crumbs, and the bugs came to eat the ants, and the frogs came to eat the bugs, and the birds came to eat the frogs, and the cats came to eat the birds, then the dogs came to chase the cats, and the bears came to chase the dogs, and the tigers came to chase the bears, and the elephants came to chase the tigers, so Bobby didn't get any sleep at all!
A lonely pineapple sat teetering on the edge of a Hawaiian Volcanoe contemplating being a self-sacrificed pineapple casserole when two tourists happen along and safely carry him to their kitchen where, you guessed it, he was promptly made into a pineapple casserole baked inside a little Buddha belly casserole dish.
